(1) A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment by a military court shall be ordered to be sent to prison to serve the sentence of imprisonment by the officer who confirms the sentence or in the case of a summary military court. (2) After giving an order according to sub-section (1), the commanding officer of the sentenced person or any other officer designated by him shall commit the person to prison with remand.
(3) When the prisoner is moved from one place to another, manasib mafiq restrictions may be imposed so that he cannot escape, run away, or do other undesirable things.
(4) If a new order is issued in place of the previously issued order in relation to the prisoner detained in the prison, the officer issuing such order shall give the corresponding detention allowance to the relevant prison head.
(5) A prisoner sentenced to imprisonment by a military court and issued in accordance with this Act for other reasons shall not be deemed to have been held in illegal detention only because there is a general error or a mismatch in the document issued in accordance with this Act.
(6) If there is an order to send him to prison to pay the prison sentence, the accused may be detained in another suitable place until he is sent to that prison.
(7) In the case of a prison sentence of less than three months, the officer under sub-section (1) may order the person who has been sentenced to military custody to serve the sentence.
(8) During military operations, the commanding officer may make the sentence of imprisonment to be served at a place designated by him.
(9) In accordance with this Act, no corporal punishment shall be given to the prisoners while in captivity and no imprisonment shall be given in a manner other than what is prescribed by the prevailing law.
(10) If the commanding officer of the army, army, division or unit feels that the sentence of imprisonment in military prison or military custody cannot be served, he may order to serve imprisonment in any other prison.
